We live in a world where convenience is of the utmost importance. As we rush from here to there and back again, things like bills or checks can easily be set aside, lost, or forgotten. Take advantage of the WFS Direct Payment Plan and the Direct Deposit Plan for grain checks and enjoy the convenience of not having to worry about your WFS bills getting paid on time, or your grain checks making it to the bank.
Direct Payment Plan
The WFS Direct Payment Plan gives you the convenience of not having to write out a check, maximizes discounts by automatically withdrawing your bill amount on the 15th of the month, and eliminates the occurrence of finance charges for late payments. You will receive a statement of your account each month, just as you do now. If there’s no discrepancy on your statement, the amount due will be automatically withdrawn from your account on the discount date. If you do find an error or have a question, the accounting department in Truman can stop the automatic payment if contacted at least three days prior to the withdrawal.
If you're interested in the Direct Payment Plan, simply call Priscilla Horsman at 507-776-1220 or fill out the Direct Payment Plan form on our web site. WFS will contact your banking or lending institution to set up the automatic withdrawals from your account or operating line of credit. Your Direct Payment Plan will go into effect on the next billing cycle. The money will be automatically withdrawn on the 15th of each month. If the 15th falls on a holiday or weekend, the payment will be withdrawn on the next business day. The authority you give to charge your account will remain in effect until you notify us in writing to terminate the authorization. If you're questioning how deferred purchases will be handled, they will be flagged so that those payments are not made until you have acknowledged to us that you want them to be withdrawn. Prepay customers, on the other hand, will have to write out an actual check to put toward their account.
Direct Deposit of Grain Checks
Another convenience offered by WFS is the Direct Deposit of grain checks. With this plan, your grain checks will be automatically transferred into your bank account the day following your sale. Your settlement sheets will then be mailed to your home address.
